Anthony Wood, Founder and CEO of Roku launched the first product ever designed to stream movies from Netflix instantly on TV. Roku means "six" in Japanese to represent Wood's sixth company. Earlier founding companies and products: ReplayTV, Anthony is the inventor of the first DVR in 1999, technology now owned by DirecTV. In 1997, he invented the code base that became the central part of Dreamweaver.
